Clement Mokoenene the South African innovator of Vehicle Energy Harvesting System (VEHS)

Clement Mokoenene from Ekurhuleni is a young South African entrepreneur that recently developed the Vehicle Energy Harvesting System. His invention produces electricity from road traffic.  Clement Mokoenene,  innovator of  Vehicle Energy Harvesting System Pictures of Vehicle Energy Harvesting System   The portable device  is a power station that transmits road trrafic to renewable energy.  According to him,  the pressure from the road traffic powers turbine that generate electricity. Writing on chivas.com, he explained that the device neither uses any raw material nor emmits greenhouse gases  making it environmental friendly.  The young innovator is in need of  funds to help him deliver renewable electricity at an affordable price and contribute to South Africa's economic growth and Africa at large. China build world largest floating solar farm

China successfully build the world largest floating solar farm on top of a deserted coal mine that can power 15,000 homes. The world’s largest floating solar farm, sitting on a lake that used to be a coal mine, is China’s latest effort to show case its commitment to renewable energy. With a 166,000 panels and a total capacity of 40 megawatts, the solar farm can produce enough energy to power 15,000 homes, the South China Morning Post reports . While it still consumes a lot of oil, coal and natural gas, China is experiencing an unprecedented solar boom. As of November 2017, solar PV accounted for 126 gigawatts, a spike of 67 percent compared to the same time in 2016. Crucially, the country is also trying to move away from highly polluting sources of energy, which are estimated to have contributed to 366,000 deaths in 2013 alone.
